World Impact walks in the footsteps of Jesus—preaching the gospel to the poor, healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Many of America’s 40 million unchurched urban poor are lost, hurting or addicted.

Our missionaries live in the inner cities serving children, teenagers and adults through Bible studies, Bible clubs and worship services. We provide Christian schools, camping, health care, leadership development, recreation and sport programs, food and clothing distribution, job training and community empowerment. The Urban Ministry Institute has grown from 12 to 32 satellite campuses this year. We are doubling the sleeping capacity at THE OAKS so more inner-city residents can enjoy this mountain retreat.
