Everything that happens in San Francisco, happens big. We are praying that revival comes to San Francisco BIG as well. Currently, the San Francisco Ministry is exploding with new projects and ministries. The Center has gotten a face lift--a new look and a new outlook. It will house a new Thrift Store, that will provide clothing and goods to our neighbors. Upstairs is our Youth Drop-in Center. After-school activities include, tutoring, counseling, sports and Bible study classes. Friday nights are lively as we stay open late into the evening with youth worship and fellowship events. We strive to teach relational truth. When kids don’t have a personal value system that distinguishes between right and wrong, there is nothing to prevent them form venting their anger and frustration through violence and hatred.
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 6:5, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." This passage implies that we will spend time with our children. We really can’t pass on our faith or our values unless we make those relational connections that our children so desperately want and need.
 With an eye on the future we are planning for a training center to bring Christian Education to urban children. We are also starting to expand our Homeless Ministries with Sunday outdoor services in downtown San Francisco.
Our prayer is that God will open doors for us to build lasting relationships with the people of San Francisco. Please join us in prayer and support as we share the gospel in the inner city.
