Sponsoring a student at a World Impact school is one of the most personal and meaningful ways that you can support the ministry of World Impact and help change the life of an inner-city child.

World Impact schools are committed to providing quality, Christian education to the urban poor. Often, urban schools are overcrowded, unsafe and provide an unsatisfactory education. Through the prayers and support of our sponsors, inner-city students have the God-given opportunity to attend a safe, private school in their neighborhood. Our students experience the love of the Lord through the modeling of their missionary teachers, are taught the Bible each day and are given an outstanding academic education. Our schools have provided hope and opportunity, in Christ, to many children living in urban communities.

WHAT IS STUDENT SPONSORSHIP?

Student sponsorship is a program that allows people, who want to personally support the Christian education of an inner-city child, to sponsor a student in our Christian schools. Sponsors agree to regularly pray for their child and to contribute $50 per month or $500 per year toward their tuition.

Do the parents still pay tuition?

Yes, we believe, for the dignity of the parent, that it is important that they pay tuition according to their financial ability. However, our parents cannot afford the full cost of the tuition. Your sponsorship supplements the tuition for your child so he/she can afford to attend the school.

What do sponsors receive when they sponsor a student?

Sponsors are sent a photograph and biography of the child they are sponsoring. You may receive other cards or letters from your student during the year.

What commitment do sponsors make?

Sponsors agree to support their student for one year by making financial contributions and regularly praying for the child. Sponsors are given an opportunity to recommit or discontinue their sponsorship each year.

You may send a check for $50 for the first month of sponsorship or for $500 for the entire year. Please indicate at which school you would like to sponsor a child: Los Angeles, Chester (PA), or Newark. You will be assigned a student to sponsor and will be sent a picture and a biography.

How can I support World Impact schools without being a sponsor?

All of our schools need your prayers and financial support. You may make a regular or a one-time contribution to the general budget of the school you choose.
