Meet Chad Wolyn

Senior Ministry Developer

Chad lives in Los Angeles and oversees our West Coast megaregions, with staff located in both Southern and Northern California. He also is a vital connection for many of our Latin American partners.

Born and raised in the California Bay Area, Chad started street ministry to help gang members and others affected by drug addiction, as well as jail and urban youth ministry in Portland, Oregon right out of college. The call to join World Impact and equip and empower leaders and pastors brought his family back to California, this time in the second largest city in America.

Chad and his wife, Fabiola, pastor the Spanish speaking church Fuente para las Naciones in South Central Los Angeles that they planted in 2010.

Chad met Fabiola, originally from Mexico, while on the mission field. They share the vision to reach the nations by loving and serving the many people in the cities of the US. They have been married 20 years and have three children (Rebecca, Justice and Beniah).

Chad is a Master Trainer with the Trauma Healing Institute as well as a Church Planting Catalyst helping people all over the world establish vibrant, healthy, reproducing ministries and churches. His heart is to encourage and help fan into flames the calling and vision of those that are often under resourced and overlooked to help expand the Kingdom of God.

Chad’s passion is Jesus, the Church, and His Kingdom. He is a bridge builder and works tirelessly to equip and empower hundreds of thousands of people to live out their best life in Jesus and help catalyze the start of hundreds of new ministries and churches.

Robert Vasquez

Regional Ministry Developer – West Coast Region

Robert is the Senior Pastor at Iglesia Misionera El Shaddai in Los Angeles, CA.

Born in El Salvador and raised in Los Angeles from the age of 8, he is passionate about teaching and preaching the gospel with biblical faithfulness and cultural clarity.

He is a licensed ordained Pastor for the past 18 years and a missionary in Central America, church planter, and a coach for the countries of Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.

He has an unwavering dedication to spreading the gospel in the urban context, working with Spanish speaking immigrant communities, and first generations Latinos to equip indigenous, kingdom-minded pastors and leaders to advance the gospel. His leadership and ministry aim are to make disciples, train leaders, and plant churches.

In addition to being a senior pastor he is one of the Board Members of Faith for Safer Streets which is a coalition of pastors who work together to make streets safer and prevent accidents.

Robert resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife Patricia Vasquez of 33 years. Also, his daughter, Victoria Vasquez age of 19 is currently studying in UC Merced.

World Impact’s Trauma Healing exists to equip churches, ministry networks, and denominations with the mental health and biblical resources needed to lead others to receive healing and freedom from trauma.

Urban Church Planting

Equip leaders from your movement, denomination, ministry network, or church to train church plant teams to establish new churches in their context by offering Evangel Schools of Urban Church Planting.

Prison Ministry

With training, men and women who have experienced incarceration can be powerful agents to advance God’s Kingdom in and through your local church.
