This amazing school year has come to an end. The last few days of school at Newark Christian School (NCS) were filled with laughter, tears, and lots of hugs from students.

Our leadership felt that the Lord wanted us to fully utilize our facilities to their maximum potential for God’s glory. In order to achieve this we wanted to partner with ministries who needed space for conferences and other types of meetings.
“Does the Dad still live here?” A young neighbor, Damien, was concerned to know.
As this school year is quickly coming to a close, my wife Solmary and I are constantly reminded of God’s faithfulness and His unwavering love for His children.
One of the ways that the Lord is building His church is through the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting.
It was an early Monday morning in December when I heard the news about the would-be suicide attacker who detonated a pipe bomb strapped to his body in the heart of Manhattan’s busiest subway corridor.

Moving to Newark brought a whole new level to prayer while walking. God gave me a wonderful prayer partner who faithfully walks with me as we pray for each other and the ministry in Newark.
It is too easy to get lost in the busyness of the season and to forget the real meaning of Christmas. It is the celebration of Jesus’ birth and the reason why He came to earth as a man to die for the sins of mankind.
Five years ago, God gave us the dream to start a housing community of men in transition out of addiction and incarceration mentoring other men in early recovery on a spiritual journey toward new life.
