Excited guys and girls jumped out of the vans that pulled up to the Main Lodge. A few weeks ago, the first wave of a group of youth from churches that are involved in the Urban Church Association from Wichita gathered for their fall retreat.
During this time of year, I am always swept up in the harried pace and mountain of responsibilities, but, as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of our Savior’s birth, I want to allow for more moments to be still.

The wind was chilly, the sky was overcast, and the nearly 100 Spanish-speaking men gathered at the cross early this fall to celebrate communion.
We had a few things that we were praying for us we transitioned to Indianapolis, new friends, and church to call home! We found a great church just a few miles from our house that we all enjoy and we are finding ways to connect and serve there.
