- Serving 633 ministry partners who are dedicated to making a difference in their communities.
- Authorizing 671 trainers who equip individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to bring about lasting change.

Your donation will directly impact lives by supporting our core ministries: Church-Based Seminary, Church Planting, Prison Ministry, and Trauma Healing. Here’s how:
1. Equipping Leaders with Contextualized Training
World Impact’s Church-Based Seminary aims to provide affordable, accessible, and highly effective training for both church leaders and lay leaders. This program is specifically designed for men and women residing in communities of poverty.
The process begins by partnering with churches, organizations, or denominations to identify emerging leaders within urban communities. Following this, The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) centers are established as hubs for learning and growth. Graduates of the program receive comprehensive training and certification, enabling them to become advocates for renewal and spiritual development within their own communities.
2. Training Urban Church Planters
The Evangel School of Urban Church Planting is a specialized program for Christian workers seeking to establish thriving churches in under-resourced urban communities. This training equips individuals with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively reach the urban poor.
Prospective church planters receive personalized coaching and training from experienced urban church planters, guiding them in developing comprehensive plans for church structure, services, outreach, finances, discipleship, and leadership development.
Upon completion of the program, students emerge empowered and equipped to fulfill their calling to plant churches and spread the message of Jesus Christ within their own communities. The focus is on creating healthy and reproducing churches that contribute to the flourishing of neighborhoods among the urban poor.
3. Sharing Urban Ministry & Leadership Knowledge With Prisoners
Our Prison Ministry focuses on training and empowering individuals to become pastors and church planters within prisons and their home communities. Thousands of incarcerated citizens receive valuable training in urban ministry and church leadership through our efforts.
We begin by establishing church-based seminaries within prison walls. Then, we support churches and ministries in assisting returning citizens – offering discipleship and enabling them to carry out impactful ministry in some of the hardest to reach communities.
4. Facilitating & Multiplying Trauma Healing Groups
World Impact’s Trauma Healing program, developed in collaboration with the American Bible Society’s Trauma Healing Institute, equips urban ministry workers and leaders to facilitate healing groups based on biblical principles. Participants have the opportunity to become certified to lead their own healing groups, expanding the reach of this impactful ministry.
Recognizing the importance of creating an environment for healing, we acknowledge that trauma can pose significant barriers to individuals engaging with Scripture. Trauma overwhelms coping mechanisms, hinders expression, shatters dignity, and limits choice. To address this, our program focuses on equipping urban church leaders to provide essential trauma care, ensuring that every obstacle to connecting with God is eliminated.
