Trauma Healing is Helping Many

Trauma Healing has been both rewarding and challenging. The challenges have mostly been administrative as we work on scaling with all the interest and opportunities to training healing group facilitators. The rewards are best heard from those who have experienced the trainings – because of your prayers and support. Thank you.

“This was not intimidating like other methods that expect you to share your story. Providing the opening stories and structured experience made it really easy to relate and participate in a way that was helpful. I loved the fact that the scriptures were a key part. Everything shared was practical and consistent with professional counseling but with strong scripture basis. I can see that it is easily replicated. It is easy for people who do not know each other to learn a lot about their trauma.” – Mark

“I’ve been to quite a few trainings in my profession.  I know what it is to have to be sensitive, to take on first responders, to just be there with nothing. This curriculum is low impact but effective. I would have like to have this when 9/11 took place. It ties in that God is there for people even for such a time as that. It is terribly attractive.” – Judith

“Usually, I am the one who gets a counselor and now I am the one who can ask the stuff, not be the counselor, but have answers from a biblical perspective.” – Felipe

“Praise God for you all, for WI. I have had a long relationship and coming from a pastoral counseling perspective I think this is very impactful, linking faith and education. It fits very well from not only a church setting but also an academic setting teaching how we deal with trauma from a biblical perspective. I would certainly recommend it.”  – Emery

If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, please reach out. I would love to talk about your context and the program to see if it may be where God is leading your community into ministry together. Thank you for partnering to empower urban leaders to minister.
