School is open. The leaves are changing. I love this time of year! Here are some of the highlights from events in World Impactโs East Region and prayer requests for the fall.
The Spirit of the Lord is moving in so many incredible ways as we faithfully and aggressively move on our vision to identify, equip, and release indigenous urban leaders to plant churches and facilitate church planting movements.
The Unashamed Retreat was my first retreat experience. I was very excited in anticipation of what would take place. Even though I did not know many of the women there personally, I felt welcomed immediately by all.
Three key individuals attended the Newark Evangel School of Urban Church Planting this summer. Their plans are to plant churches in Connecticut, Queens, Brooklyn, Northern New Jersey, Newark, and, Jamaica.
The sights, sounds and congestion of NYC are amazing. While I was heading to the subway to make my way back to Newark after a recent meeting with a church planter and an overload of coffee, something caught my attention.
Early this year, I asked my prayer team to pray that one of my students, Jaslene, would place her faith in Jesus as her Lord. The good news is, she has prayed to receive Jesus and has been saved!
Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of watching one young boy change before my eyes.
Recently, at Newark Christian School, we celebrated Geography Day, with each group of students representing different cultures.
Newark Christian School’s purpose is to provide an affordable, quality private education for families in the Newark metropolitan area.
As I look back over the school year I am certainly thankful for the Lord’s hand in our Saturday King’s Kids program.
