My wife Sol and I recently went to Florida to visit family and so I could visit with two pastors who are implementing TUMI in their respective churches.
Urban church planters truly are some of our personal heroes. They are men and women of faith, who follow Jesus into hard places to share His love with people who desperately need it.
In 1992 our family transferred to World Impact’s ministry in Los Angeles. Our kids were young, and it was a huge move.
My wife and I were expecting our third son and as the day drew nearer, our main vehicle to haul around our family bit the dust.
Rae* was my hair stylist and we lost touch. Last year we reconnected at the World Impact Women’s Retreat.
As we empower urban leaders and partner with local churches to reach their cities with the gospel, The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) remains an excellent resource for developing urban leaders.
We recently held our 8th annual Wichita Women’s Retreat at Morning Star Ranch. We had 160 women in attendance from several of our urban churches in Wichita.
Jordan King, a World Impact ministry developer, is expanding the ministry’s reach by developing a World Impact presence and building relationships in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Can anything good come out of prison? We are counting on that very thing.
My wife Tayna and I were blessed to spend some time down in south Texas at Rio Grande Bible College (RGBC) with my folks, and what a blessing and time of reflection.
We met Keith and Rosalyn last year, and after bonding over a mutual love for Mexican food, we realized that we also had a mutual love of ministry in the city.
