Each year, we at TUMI produce a calendar that follows the seasons of the liturgical year. This helps us to remember and re-experience in a yearly cycle the life of Christ.
Weโd sit at the kitchen table and eat bananas, talk about school and sometimes play a game, but the thing they loved most was story time.
A lot has changed in the past three months and our ministry was not exempt. Due to COVID-19, we had to cancel many of our in-person trainings and events.
While I have only been a part of this ministry for 22 of those years, my family and I have seen firsthand how Jesus transforms lives and the wonderful results that can come with that.ย
We realize that this has been to varying degrees for different families, but we hope and pray that ultimately this is drawing you into closer dependence on and greater hope in God.ย

Recently I was reminded of how blessed I am with the wonderful donors that support our work with World Impact.
I have a close friend and supporter who asked me to come to the place where he works. Nothing more than that, just a simple request to meet him.
Having moved away from our home church as well as farther from family and community, she was one who provided a strong connection to home and church life, and a friendship emerged over the years.
I find I get emotional when I think of donors.ย It isn’t just names I picture, but faces, conversations and shared experiences.ย
