I hope each of you are doing great! As missionaries with World Impact, it is our privilege to empower urban leaders and partner with local churches to help reach our cities with the Gospel.
In the past three months, I have joined a house church called, Faith Fighters. It has been a joy, combined with some challenges in getting to know the wonderful folks that are part of this community.
Urban church planters truly are some of our personal heroes. They are men and women of faith, who follow Jesus into hard places to share His love with people who desperately need it.
As a student of The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI), Frank recently completed Module 8, entitled Evangelism and Spiritual Warfare.
Summer camp at The Oaks continues to be a huge blessing to our students at Los Angeles Christian School! Camp looked very different this year but that did not phase our students one bit.
In 1992 our family transferred to World Impact’s ministry in Los Angeles. Our kids were young, and it was a huge move.
Preparing to launch TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) 25 years ago was a daunting and oftentimes discouraging task.
My wife and I were expecting our third son and as the day drew nearer, our main vehicle to haul around our family bit the dust.
As I hear sirens and helicopters, as I pass sleeping bodies in trash-laden makeshift shelters, even altars to the recently slain, there is a growing cadence in my heart.
Rob is a young man who we have had the opportunity to help empower. He grew up going to Bible clubs.
Truly, God transforms lives and The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) is an incredible tool.
