World Impact’s Topeka Ministry grew out of a TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) satellite that began in 2010.
This past fall Charles facilitated his first TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) class, taking on the role of co-mentor.

This year has been a good and busy year for ministry. I have probably been to more conferences and involved in more learning cohorts than I have my whole ministry career.
The Lord continues to lead and open up doors for ministry in St. Louis in areas that are obviously ripe for the harvest. Roger has been involved with World Impact St. Louis for many years.
I recently participated in a TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) graduation at Norco Prison in California. The mentors, TUMI staff, and family members gathered on one side of the aisle.
For several years, we have been trying to bring The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) classes to the women at Topeka Correctional Facility (our Kansas State Women’s Prison).
One of the greatest privileges of serving the men and women who take The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) classes is hearing the amazing ways God has worked in their lives.
Recently I attended church on Skid Row in Los Angeles. I have been to this area many times over the years, but never for a Sunday service.
