My goal for taking part in Church-Based Seminaryย was a simple one: to know the Bible in depthย so that I could beย a better servant leaderย in myย church and ministry.ย ย
Those who equate church with large Sunday gatherings have forgotten that the church is people and not a building, and so the church never closes!
The pandemic has inflicted suffering and loss on many but has also revealed the creativity, commitment, and determination of our students and graduates at The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI).ย
Indeed, with the emergence of the COVID-19 outbreak, it is virtually impossible today for any volunteers or trainers to gain access into the nearly 70 prisons we currently serve.
I host a womenโs Bible study at our home. We have been gathering each week for three and a half years now, making our way through the Old Testament.
I was in Guadalajara, Mexico, this past January for one of the most amazing weekends. I have been there multiple times over the last twelve years.
World Impact is all about empowering urban leaders, so weโve created a COVID-19 fund.
People from all over the world are still flocking to the city, and the mission of World Impact and TUMI is still to multiply laborers for the urban harvest in preparation for the Lordโs return.
