Urgent Ministry
It is a privilege to Sol and I to share with you all some of our most exciting and successful events of our ministry.

This month’s Bulletin features updates on TUMI, Urban Church Planting, and Urban Leadership Retreats.
On the first night of my current TUMI Capstone course, Foundations of Christian Leadership, we were talking about Jesus washing His disciplesโ feet from John 13.
Last month we had the blessing of hosting the Arboleda family who are originally from Colombia. They came to our church Iglesia Del Maestro when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in August 2005.
There are still three TUMI classes going on this summerโtwo in the state prison and one in the city.
A few months back I met with Beni Santibanez for lunch when I was in Wichita, KS, for a work visit. Beni is an artist who recorded some music with TUMI Productions.
Our TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) class is a perfect example of the diverse field of leaders wanting to be trained.
When my wife Audrey and I first started teaching The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) classes in prisons, we were really concerned with how we were going to reach all these people.
Graduating from TUMI prepared me to be ready in an instant. One evening I was at the Topeka Rescue Mission and they had to cancel chapel because the speaker cancelled.
I want to personally thank you for your generosity so far this year. With over 20 years of personal ministry experience it continues to bless my soul to witness our Lord bringing the hearts of His servants together to advance His kingdom.
God uses so many different people and situations to impact our cities for his Kingdom!
Formal cap and gown graduations punctuate the honor and respect we have for each of our leaders. We believe God is raising up some of the best leaders, for the Church and the Great Commission, from our cities and prisons.
