Thank you for being “with us” in so many ways the last couple of months. Here are brief but grateful updates from World Impact Topeka!
Recently, we held our Wichita Women’s Retreat at Morning Star Ranch. I was honored to direct this retreat with the help of our retreat team.
I had been just over a year sober when I came to my first retreat in 2016, RELEASED. I was starting to learn more about God which was not something I had been doing.
Greetings in Christ from The Oaks. The 2018 Winter Teen Retreat theme was “Unshakable Hope in a Shakable World.” During the final morning service, teens were invited to come forward and share about their weekend experience.
I had a wonderful time at the Dallas Men’s Conference last fall. It’s always an honor to be with other men of God in fellowship.
It is retreat season in Kansas! Our annual women’s leadership retreats are one of the ways that we fulfill our mission to empower urban leaders in World Impact.
This month’s Bulletin features two of our initiatives: Urban Church Associations and Urban Leadership Retreats.
I can still remember meeting Bobby Ortiz. It was the day of our Backyard Boogie—one of our first attempts to engage our neighbors as well as invite our family and friends into the work of planting Emmaus San Bernardino.
One of the seven initiatives that World Impact is using to accomplish the goal of empowering urban Christian leaders is the Urban Church Association (UCA).
