Celebrating God’s Faithfulness at Our 2025 Community Gathering

This past October, our World Impact team came together from across the country for a community gathering that felt like one big family reunion, full of worship, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose. Our theme for the two-day get together was Team World Impact: One Team, One VisionOne Commission. and we sure did celebrate and cheer each other on as one big team! Although the majority of our staff work remotely and in different areas and programs of World Impact, we are united in heart, vision, and mission. We look forward to coming together every year in person to encourage one another, corporately worship God and seek his guidance, and align our efforts toward a vision of eternal impact.

Collective Praise as a Team

From the very first session, the room was filled with collective praise as we lifted our voices in worship. It was powerful to witness our full staff united in gratitude for what God has done through this ministry. It reminded us that every milestone we celebrated this year was the result of his faithfulness and the daily obedience of his people.

And yes, there was a lot to celebrate. Together, we reflected on the incredible wins God has allowed us to experience: expanded training impact, deeper relationships in urban communities and with donors, strengthened partnerships, and new opportunities to empower local churches, here and overseas.

Immense growth has taken place in South America, India, and Africa.  Our biggest training opportunity came this year through a Trauma Healing equipping mission last March.

Many Wins to Celebrate

Internally as well, we had many wins: from incorporating new online data systems and processes, increasing donorship, and hiring several new staff members who bring so much value to our team.

These weren’t just numbers or achievements, they were lives changed, church leaders equipped, and communities strengthened by God’s kingdom.

2030 Missional Goals

But the most energizing part of the week was looking ahead. As we aligned on mission and vision for the next five years, there was a shared excitement in the room. God is calling World Impact to bold, strategic, Spirit-led work through five God-sized missional goals:

By 2030, (1) we aim to see 500 healthy churches report increased health, (2) double our program training from 90 to 180 prisons here in North America, (3) expand our trauma healing training here and overseas with 90% of participants reporting healing through biblical tools, (4) provide theological training in 40 new countries, and (5) for 10,000 leaders to access World Impact’s online offerings.

A Fruitful Time Together

There was also plenty of time for laughter, good food, activities, games, and making new memories as we all reconnected. The fellowship reminded us why gatherings like this matter: we’re better when we work together.

As we step into the next season, we do so with renewed faith, clarity, and joy. God has been faithful for over 50 years, and he isn’t finished yet. Here’s to the next five years and to the incredible ways God will continue to move through World Impact.
