When Keren first attended Los Angeles Christian School in second grade she says she was a little scared, but her teacher welcomed her in warmly and she had a great experience. Now, as LACS’s first grade teacher, Keren has the chance to make her students feel safe and welcome. She is a picture of an indigenous Christian leader who is transforming her community.
Keren has taken the values she learned as a student at LACS, and used them to become a quality educator herself. She has now returned to her community to train up the next generation of Christian leaders. The cycle of leadership has continued, and through Keren’s teaching, we pray her students will in turn grow up to transform their communities.
