We recently took a trip to India; it was a good one with many blessings and challenges as always. Each trip seems to be more difficult than the last one. Either that is true or we just don’t remember very well. We held a TUMI graduation, baptized believers in the river, resisted attacks from the enemy, dedicated a building for the housing of widows, had a youth meeting and church services, held numerous cottage prayer services, participated in a women’s conference and a pastor’s conference, had harrowing car rides and prayed a lot. If you didn’t believe in prayer before traveling the roads of India you certainly would become a believer after traveling on them!
One day we traveled to Assam to buy tea and see a potential new site for TUMI. They welcomed us with much love and invited me back for a month in May. We will see how the Lord leads on that one. Traveling is getting harder and harder on our aging bodies. So we welcomed the prayers we received during our trip.
Costa Rica may be on the horizon for a trip this year. The government of that country requires pastors to have an accredited Bible training so we are trying to see if the government will accept TUMI to fulfill the requirements.
We are starting TUMI classes in the church we attend in Centennial. That is scheduled to begin this month. That will make three classes “outside” of prison with two more in the works and two classes “inside” of prison with one more in the works. We are beginning to need more staff here in Denver. Do you want to move to Colorado? Do you want to see the world? The doors are open for all who desire a new adventure.
