Win the World Conferences Equip and Empower Leaders in Tanzania

Thereโ€™s something satisfying about being in the right place at the right time. โ€œThe Gospel of Jesus Christ is alive and well in Tanzania,โ€ declares Kenny Holloway, associate minister of Tabernacle Bible Church, a church in Wichita, Kansas. Holloway recently returned from a trip to Africa with World Impact, where his team hosted two Win the World conferences in Tanzania. The whole team is overflowing with stories of Godโ€™s mighty works.

The World Impact team first gathered about 50 regional leaders from around Africa, including pastors and bishops, met for two days to collaborate on advancing the kingdom within their regions. These godly leaders came to hear from the Lord collectively. They relished the opportunity to encourage, challenge, and design strategy together.

Win the World Conferences Spark Unity

The unity among the participants was profound. Particularly striking was the representation of believers from across the Christian faith spectrum resolutely linking arms for the sake of the gospel. โ€œWe brought many people from different denominations to attend the conference, and we are very happy because many people came,โ€ Bishop Dr. Joshua Robert Macumba, from the Holy Ghost Revival Church, a church in Nigeria, shares. โ€œTo our brothers in the US, we would welcome them again. If possible, come again, if God gives you time.โ€

Mission team member Pastor Buc experienced โ€œa genuine joy of fellowship and reverence for God, for the Word of God, for the men of God, and for the people of God. They love God,โ€ he says. The spirit of unity was palpable. โ€œThere was no hesitation in wanting more,โ€ he describes. โ€œYou can feel it from the first pew to the back and outside everywhere.โ€

Bishop Dell Rutha from the Living Waters Church, a church in South Africa, elaborates on how the conference equipped the attendees. โ€œThank you for these brothers who came from America bringing wonderful and powerful seminars,โ€ he says. โ€œI learned a lot about leadership. [The speakers] challenged us about how we can lead the church of Christ in order to build the kingdom of God. They have equipped us concerning evangelism, how we can draw people coming for Christ.โ€ Bishop Dell adds, โ€œI believe revival is coming to our city. The biggest revival is coming through this summit conference.โ€

Leaders Equipped With Evangelism Strategies

The World Impact team also hosted a second two-day Win the World Conference. Between 800 and 1000 people attended to discuss evangelism strategies and empower leaders. โ€œWhat I really saw, what Iโ€™d like for you to hear, is an amazing thing happening in Tanzania, and it is unity,โ€ says David Estrada, a World Impact Senior Ministry Developer.

God is demolishing barriers so His people can experience His unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Revival is happening because theyโ€™re trusting God to do what only He can do. And youโ€™re included in this! Thanks to the faithful support of our global partners, World Impact is joining God in Africa where Heโ€™s at work. The Lord of the Harvest is extravagantly answering your prayers; the Word of God is bearing fruit and increasing. โ€œWe need to continue to pray – to support – what God is doing and what we just witnessed,โ€ Estrada says. โ€œWeโ€™re just so grateful for our partners.โ€

Pastor Buc adds, โ€œWeโ€™re going back. Itโ€™s [already] set. Amen.โ€

We have a lot to look forward to.ย

Be Part of the Effort Through Prayer and Support

Please continue to pray for our efforts in Africa, and for the many pastors and leaders who are fulfilling the Great Commission through their churches and ministries. Itโ€™s because of conferences and gatherings like these that leaders are able to unite, be encouraged, and receive further training in their callings.

Would you consider giving financially to help us equip and empower more leaders to declare and demonstrate Christ in their communities and beyond?
