Dear Friends and Partners in the Gospel,
As we look at the spiritual landscape of our nation and the world, it is clear that the need for church planting, biblical training, and trauma healing has never been greater. Yet, in the face of these challenges, God continues to open doors for us to equip leaders, train pastors, and bring healing to those in need.
Church Planting: Responding to a Growing Need
The U.S. is now considered a post-Christian nation, with more churches closing than being planted. Only 20% of Americans attend church weekly, and domestic church planting is lagging behind international efforts at a 6:1 ratio.
To combat this, we are launching four urban church planting training events, updating our training materials, and creating a network of support for pastors to help prevent church closures.
Already, we are seeing fruit:
- Pastor Victor is using our training to strengthen Congolese churches and equip new planters.
- Pastor Darryl is planting churches in Kentucky prisons and creating a church home for returning citizens.
Expanding Digital Access to Training
The shift to a digital-first culture is undeniable. Many in-person TUMI sites are closing, yet demand for online theological training is increasing. To meet this, we are launching Cornerstone and Capstone in a digital format, making it accessible 24/7 and in multiple languages.

Trauma Healing: Restoring Hope
A recent survey found that 70% of pastors have experienced trauma, and 40% of congregants are struggling with it. To address this:
- 130 U.S.-based ministry partners will be trained this year.
- We are expanding Trauma Healing to Kenya and Tanzania in 2025, training 130 pastors and church leaders.
