Pastors and Church Leaders – Do you long to see your church renewed, not just preserved?

World Impact’s School of Church Revitalization is a 2-day, team-based training and year-long coaching journey to help urban pastors and teams revitalize churches in communities experiencing poverty.

Move from “something has to change” to a shared, one-year revitalization plan and a coach who walks with you as you pursue renewed health and impact in your neighborhood.

Program Cost: $100 per team (2-5 people)

This covers the registration fee, meals, and resources for your church plant team. Teams are responsible for travel and lodging costs.

You Are Faithful

But God is Stirring Something Inside of You

You have stayed with your people and your neighborhood when others might have walked away. You carry the weight of preaching, counseling, and leading in a community of poverty—often while working another job and caring for your own family.

You sense God stirring something new: a revitalization, a re-plant in the same neighborhood, a relaunch, or a healthy transition to the next generation of leaders. You also know you cannot figure this out alone or bolt on a generic plan that ignores your context.

You Want More Than Survival

You long to see your church renewed, not just preserved.

You want:

  • A clear, shared one-year revitalization plan that fits your neighborhood, not someone else’s.
  • A team that owns the vision with you, instead of you carrying everything alone.
  • A church that is healthy, multiplying disciples, and rooted among the urban poor.

World Impact’s School of Church Revitalization helps pastors and teams move from “we know something needs to change” to “we have a Spirit-led, strategic plan we can actually follow.”

Not Another One-Size-Fits-All Conference

World Impact’s School of Church Revitalization helps pastors and teams move from “we know something needs to change” to “we have a Spirit-led, strategic plan we can actually follow.”

This is not a one-time event where you hear inspiring talks and then go home to figure out revitalization by yourself.

It is a guided process designed specifically for urban churches in under-resourced communities.

Across two intensive days, your team will work with experienced urban practitioners to build a contextual plan for revitalizing your church—one that honors your history, your people, and your place.

Key Distinctives

  • Principle-based training that can be applied to re-planting, relaunching, or transitioning leadership in an existing church.
  • Built for bi-vocational and co-vocational leaders serving communities of poverty.
  • Grounded in biblical, timeless principles that cross cultures, including the culture of the poor.
  • Followed by a year of coaching so you are not left to implement your plan alone.

Two Days to Clarify the Path Forward

During your School of Church Revitalization, your team will:

Clarify God’s call: Are you revitalizing, re-planting in the same neighborhood, relaunching, or transitioning leadership?

Build a one-year revitalization plan tailored to your church and neighborhood.

Identify next steps for outreach, discipleship, leadership development, and financial sustainability in your context.

Name what must stay, what must change, and what must be reborn in your church’s life and ministries.

Grow in unity as a team as you pray, plan, and dream together for your community.

Step away from weekly urgency to pray, think, and plan together.

Our team and coaches have countless years of experience in planting, coaching, and living in communities of poverty.

We are not a funding missions organization.

Our focus is to bring church plant teams through a rigorous 2-day strategic planning process that culminates in an Evangel Charter (1-year plan of action).

We provide an Evangel Dean Coach during the 2-day Evangel School strategic planning time and an Evangel Field Coach for 1-year upon Chartering church plant teams.

We provide our Evangel Coaches at no cost for the church plant team.

The only requirement is to minimally meet with your Evangel Field Coach once a quarter for a review and next steps on your 1-year strategic plan.

We call this Prepare – Work – Review (PWR). We know what it is like to plant a church in an urban poor context and want you to focus on the task.
