God is at Work Through Partnerships

Collaboration during the Empowering Denver Event.

Thank you for supporting the mission of World Impact through our friendship and ministry together.

Your prayer, encouragement, care, and financial gifts are helping spread the Gospel in communities experiencing poverty all over the world by empowering leaders with ministry training.

You are such an important piece of our call to faithfully equip the Church.

God is at work!

World Impact is in an exciting season of growth across all our programs in both local and global contexts. I want to highlight a few compelling updates from our programs for you.

Our Church Planting program will execute a shift of focus in anticipation of the coming fiscal year.

Talks are underway to revitalize our Evangel School of Urban Church Planting core curriculum to increase its attention on domestic church plant teams.

Your Kingdom Come: Friendship for Great Commission Advancement.

That being said, we are hosting an international church planting summit on June 25-26 in Wichita, Kansas.

This will bring together key leaders from all over the world to strategize and collaborate around advancing the Great Commission. The gathering will contribute to empowering our international partners to be effectively self-sufficient, which will allow us to tighten our focus to domestic teams.

Empowering the City Events

I have been privileged to take part in three events (in Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and Denver) highlighting our collaborative research launch with Barna Group.

This research project examined the role and impact of urban churches on their communities.

These three gatherings have been extremely encouraging! We have connected with many of our existing trainers and workers and have met plenty of people who heard about us through social media.

Los Angeles

The Bay Area

I am excited to hear about the partnerships that will spawn because of these gatherings.

At the Bay Area Barna launch event, I met a young lady named Micole.

When she was young, Micole received meals, shelter, and safety at the World Impact building in Oakland. She is now a certified evangelist and serves those growing up in communities experiencing poverty like she did. It was wonderful to hear her story.

Lastly, I want to highlight our internal efforts to report back on stories of God’s life-changing work through World Impact.

Every month, we gather stories of impact from each of our programs to share with you. Are you subscribed to receive email updates from World Impact?

These stories come via our “Be the Light” email along with a short City Prayer devotional and easy prompts to engage with God’s work in the city. This is a great way to stay connected monthly to God’s work through our collaborative efforts.

Please pray for us as we enter the final quarter of the fiscal year.

This time of year is crucial for financial stability and preparing for future ministry initiatives.

Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel.

In Christ,

Dr. Alvin Sanders
